SAKG – “Garden Gate”, chicken duty and request for old garden magazines

Garden Gate

Our SAKG garden will now be running a “Garden Gate” after assemblies.  The first garden gate will be after tomorrow assembly Wed 11th Sept.  They will have a stall set up under the new building from 3:30-4pm in which families will be able to buy produce from our SAKG garden.  At this point it will be mostly bunches of herbs.

Chicken roster

We now have an automatic door for the chickens, but we are still in need of families to check in on them every so often and especially during the upcoming school holidays.

Checking in on the chickens is as simple as making sure there are still four of them and making sure they have food and water and then keeping whatever eggs you find.
