Dear parents of Prep C,

We are writing to inform you that we have had a single case of Chickenpox confirmed within your child's year level. The student had been vaccinated and so it is only a mild case of chicken pox.

Chickenpox (varicella) is a highly contagious viral disease. The main symptom is a blistering, itchy skin rash with outbreaks are more common in winter and early spring. More information may be found at
